"Basic Color Mixing techniques" with Chelsea Lindner
Chelsea will try to answer some of your basic color mixing questions, primarily regarding oil and acrylic paints.
Any questions about color can be brought to this demo, and if Chelsea doesn't know the answer, she will at least try to research them later for you.

"Collage and Multi-Media" with Michelle Harshbarger
Finally, a use for all your favorite paper scraps! Michelle will show a variety of materials and methods that you can use to make interesting and unique Collage and Mixed Media artworks.

OPEN STUDIO WEEKEND SATURDAY MAY 24th and SUNDAY MAY 25th 10a.m. -5p.m. both days.

May 2008 - Our show for ALL of May will be works by the employees of Artist's Mediums. Come view work by: Laura Collaro (multimedia), Michelle Harshbarger (mixed media & soft sculpture), Chelsea Lindner (oils), Mary Messa (multimedia), Kristin Richland (acrylics/mixed media).

We invite you to come and see our artwork and visit with the artists, many of whom will be working on art as you watch right here in the store. Our store is also a great spot to pick up the official Open Studio Tour map. If you will be hosting at your own venue, please feel free to drop off your own maps/brochures at the store during the month of May.

TEEN FEST VERMONT SATURDAY & SUNDAY May 31st and June 1st, Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Junction. Both days run from 11:00 a.m. till 8:00p.m.
A portion of all ticket proceeds will be donated to the VT Coalition of Teen Centers. Among the offerings: job & college exhibits, music, arcade and skateboarding demos. Make sure to stop by our booth where you can experiment with hands-on printmaking and other interactive artistic activities. Tickets & info: www.teenfestvt.com
